superlambanana for sale! Auction.

In an earlier post i mentioned that Liverpools beloved superlambana's were up for auction. I went to visit the collection that was up for sale and took a few pictures to sum the quirky sculptures up.

They are sculptures that have been displayed in Liverpool.
The first one was yellow, 17ft tall and is supposed to be a cross between a lamb and a banana. The artist responsible for the first one is Taro Chiezo. It was so popular and generated lots of publicity so 125 individually designed replicas were commissioned for the capital of culture year.
